History does not belong to politicians or celebrities. It belongs to all of us and is shaped by the experiences of all of you. And I want to hear yours.
Share a story about you, your life, or someone who shaped you. It can be about a person you love, someone who challenged you, a place that changed you, a memory you carry, an object that matters, or a moment you do not want forgotten. This is a space for personal history, reflection, and honest storytelling. It is not meant for cruelty, harassment, or venting, but your story does not have to be polished, perfect, or only positive. The goal is simple: to make room for everyday histories that deserve to be remembered.
Rules and Expectations
I started this project because I believe everyone carries history. You do not need to be famous, important, or connected to a major event to have a story worth sharing. I want to hear the memories, people, places, objects, relationships, and moments that shaped you.
Stories submitted here may be shared on this website or on my related public-history Instagram page. I may post short excerpts, reflections, or selected stories using the name you provide. If you do not include a name, I will treat the story as anonymous.
I will not present your story as my own. I will not sell your story, turn it into merchandise, or use it for a book or commercial project without asking for separate permission. The goal is simple: to create a space for everyday people-powered stories that deserve to be heard.
